Hair painting aka Balayage is one of our specialities and favorite things to do. The results can vary but overall, you get a very soft finish, like maybe the sun did it. This type of hair coloring service can be booked as a full (all over the head) or a partial (excluding the underneath) highlight.
We have a soft spot for my brunettes. we love creating dimension that is as interesting to look at as a blonde. Within the depths, there can be highs and lows, multiple tones, it is so special. It takes a little longer for the eye to notice a brunette but when they do, the eye will settle in and stay a while.
To add more dimension to your color, we recommend booking either a partial highlight or a Root Tint with Highlights
Some like to make sure they never see a grey hair. In this case, don't you worry, We got you. Alternatively, one of our specialties is grey blending. This involves blending the roots as they grow out, highlighting to follow the natural tonal shift that's happening, and glossing regularly. It truly is the answer to a healthy and beautiful low maintenance look.

We love to cut hair with a straight blade razor. In some cases, it creates the finish that we are going for. It's another tool that we love just the same amount as scissors. When cutting with a razor, the hair has to be damp. If you know you want to use this tool for your next haircut, it's a good idea to book an hour which includes an optional wash.
It's important to see how and where the hair is naturally pushing so we can create a shape that sits just right and lives it's best life. This is why we ask that you arrive with your natural texture & a wash is optional.
It's best to book your haircut appointment based on your density, amount of change and styling/finishing needs. This can range from 15-90 minutes.

A botanical daydream of a product line. This brand was created by Garrett Markenson, a hairdresser from Los Angeles, and is run as a small family owned business. It is made in collaboration with a skin care chemist using sustainable ingredients mostly from family owned farms around the world and make here, in California. The entire line is my favorite and it truly is for everyone.
If you are looking for a place to start, it's Milk. A silicone free leave in softening treatment.
Innersense is great! They have a few options of gels and foams to cater to all textures and their cleansers are simple and smell great! This line is also silicone free (silicones can 'cause long term damage to the hair and scalp).

New Wash is a first of kind cream cleanser that rids your hair of dirt and debris without any bubbles. It doesn't strip your natural oils so they continue on to act as conditioner.
They carry a few styling products too. Taren's favorite hair product of all time is UNDRESSED. It's basically a salt spray sans salt. It provides strength and hold to blowouts and heat styling while also enhancing your natural texture if you are letting your hair air dry.
New kid on the block, we are so happy to partner with Blu & Green! A plastic free line created by celebrity hairdresser, James Pecis. The shampoo and conditioner is truly life changing as solid tablets (use 1-2 per shower) and is formulated with great ingredients for hair and scalp. The solid oil is officially the BEST for travel.
